Hello, my name is Solstice, and I am a Congo African Grey parrot. I was transferred to Lollypop Farm from a shelter in Buffalo, where I went when my owner became overwhelmed with too many pets to care for. The shelter does not know too much about my background or how old I am. I am a bit of a shy guy but I do like gentle head scratches and I have stepped up a few times for the staff here. I like to whistle and make all kinds of sounds but I have not spoken any words yet since I have been here at the shelter. I came in with my best friend, Equinox, a Timneh African Gray parrot. We are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Our adoption fee is $xxxx. I can be seen at the shelter by appointment only.
